Snow’s life is spinning even further out of her control. What should have been a happy moment had turned into something dark. The moment haunts her sleep, and when she’s awake, Snow is continuously reminded of the path that had been forced upon her.
Forest was not the Fae that she had originally thought he was.
Thankfully Everest was still close. Although being near him was painful. Snow longed to be in his arms, but Forest had forbidden it. Snow was Forest’s future queen, and nothing she did or said was going to change his mind.
The news of their union had traveled quickly, but the kingdoms hadn’t taken it very well. The majority of their people didn’t want the Summer and Winter Fae kingdoms united.
Unfortunately, anger and hatred for their future union places a target on Snow’s back.
Just when Snow begins to forgive Forest, she is nearly poisoned to death. Thankfully, she is saved by Everest at the last second. Forest and Everest quickly realize that an attempt on her life will happen again unless they do something drastic. They must set their differences aside to keep anyone from taking Snow away from them both forever.
Of course, the path they take to keep Snow safe ends up placing her into someone else’s grasp, someone far more dangerous than any beast in the Forgotten Forest.
Once Aspen, the Dragon Clan’s king, has his sights set on Snow, there is no escape.
Some quick thinking on Snow’s part ends up keeping her from being alone with this new threat. She manages to keep Everest by her side thanks to a few little white lies, but they are forced to leave Forest behind in a vulnerable position in the middle of the Forgotten Forest.
Now, instead of traveling to safety, Everest and Snow are forced to go into the unknown.
They must work together to escape Aspen’s kingdom while keeping their true feelings towards each other hidden. That almost becomes an impossible task as the situation pushes Everest and Snow even closer than before. The only thing keeping them apart is Snow’s love for Forest. No matter how much she hates what he’s done, she can’t deny her connection to Forest.
If or once she’s free from Aspen, Snow will have to make a choice.
Snow’s life and future hangs in the balance, but she isn’t going to give up.
Will they escape, or will Snow be forced to watch the two Fae she’s come to love disappear from her life forever? Will she ultimately end up alone? Only fate has the power to decide what Snow’s future might hold.
